  1. Glad I found this site, have been having trouble with my foot and love to walk, am will be in the market for a new pair of running shoes shortly, so will keep this in mind.

Is there a shoe that you would recommend more for long distance walking? I like to do about 5km a day, I think thats about 3 miles and would like to ramp it up once the weather improves?

    Thanks
    Sue

      Hi Sue,

Thanks for commenting. My favorite shoes (and the only ones I have worn since I got them) are from Kuru Footwear. They are considered the world’s most anatomical active footwear and great for walking. Check out their article about the best walking shoes and recommended styles. I own the Chicane style and cant say enough about them.

If you have other questions, feel free to ask.

I just found this site today and read your description and advice.

I have been having problem with dry heels and can’t seem to keep them moist enough. I wonder if the shoes would help me with that?

    What do you think?
